Durante su participación el secretario de Gobierno aseveró que estas mesas de trabajo cumplen con el mandato del gobernador Julio Menchaca, de tener un gobierno cercano a la gente, un gobierno que permita atender al campo en el campo, para evitar que las y los hidalguenses se trasladen a Pachuca para recibir atención a sus inquietudes.
Otro de los propósitos de la mesa es atender las demandas del sector agropecuario, prevenir conflictos locales y con ello, favorecer que las y los campesinos se ocupen de producir la tierra.
